How it Works

When you arrive at the Onnit Gym, the first thing we do is give you a personalized 1 on 1 consultation with one of our trained fitness experts. Your personal fitness consultant will ask you a series of comprehensive questions designed to assess your level of physical fitness, commitment, and any limitations you may have. Then we take you through a FREE workout where additional assessment is done to determine strengths and weaknesses in your posture, mobility, and flexibility. Once your fitness assessment is complete, we’ll sit down with you to establish your GOAL and layout your customized success plan. Classes & Training

The Onnit Gym features a variety of classes held in both small group and large group settings. The following are a few of the implements being used. Each class will feature one or more of these training techniques:

Academy Fundamentals

These 60-minute conditioning-focused classes are accessible to all levels. This class takes advantage of a variety of unconventional tools like kettlebells, steel maces, steel clubs, sand bags, and more. The focus on larger groups provides a high-energy atmosphere and the classes are structured with a focus on delivering the perfect blend of fat loss, skill development, and fun.

Academy Express

These 30-min, high intensity classes provide a concentrated burst of high paced training for a mid-day jump start. With a focus on bodyweight and unconventional tools, the Express class is perfect for those looking to get maximal results in minimal time.

Academy Durability

These 60-minute classes are focused on restorative movement and recovery. Each class incorporates a combination of ground based movement, soft tissue release, and functional mobility. Attending Durability classes regularly is a sound investment towards longevity and will contribute to sustainable long-term progress.

Onnit Gym HIIT Conditioning

This 60-minute interval-based conditioning class incorporates bodyweight movement, kettlebells, and state of the art cardio equipment like curved SKILLMILL treadmills, Concept 2 SkiErgs, and Concept 2 Rowers. This class is great for fat loss and improved endurance for all levels.

Academy Small Group Hybrid Training

These 60-Minute semi-private personal training sessions integrate traditional styles of barbell and dumbbell training with unconventional techniques. With a focus on smaller groups, hybrid sessions are great for strength and muscle development in a more personal setting.

Academy Striking Conditioning

These 60-Minutes classes integrate bodyweight exercises and boxing conditioning for all levels. These are a great way to spark fat loss, total body endurance, and develop new skills. While there is some technical instruction, Academy Striking Classes are focused on keeping your heart rate up while teaching you the fundamentals of boxing.

Unconventional Training Certification

The Onnit Gym also offers Unconventional Training Certifications. Gaining an Unconventional Training Certification does more than get you acclimated to the wide world of functional implements, the lessons you’ll learn will allow you advance as far as you want to go. From being able to proficiently guide your personal fitness objectives to engineering new programs to teach the masses, the Onnit Gym has a path for everyone.
